Owners and pizza lovers, Stephen and Robert DeRose, opened Bambino’s Pizza & Pasta in the summer of 2000, with a vision of creating Danbury’s best pizza. Stephen and Robert grew up making pizza with Stephen’s father, Sal, of the legendary Sal’s Pizzeria in Mamaroneck, NY. Sal’s legendary sicilian pizza recipe is now feeding the families of Danbury.
